Julia and Patrick’s wedding at Beeches Golf Club in South Haven was the perfect combination of relaxed elegance, meaningful moments, and pure fun. The day began with the girls getting ready together at a nearby bed and breakfast while the guys prepared at a local hotel close to the venue. Because Beeches Golf Club is primarily a golf course, using nearby locations for getting ready helped create a much smoother and more comfortable experience for everyone involved. One of the things we always prioritize at Inspired Media is helping couples build a timeline that keeps the day flowing naturally so nothing feels rushed or stressful.

 

After photographing nearly 250 weddings throughout Southwest Michigan, we know that couples enjoy their wedding day most when they are not constantly worried about what comes next. Julia and Patrick trusted the process completely, which allowed them to stay fully present and enjoy every moment together.

The weather could not have been more perfect for a summer wedding near Lake Michigan. Bright sunshine filled the course all day while the breeze coming off the lake kept everyone comfortable from the ceremony through the evening celebration. The open landscape of the golf course created beautiful natural light and stunning portrait locations throughout the property.

One of the most memorable moments of the entire day happened immediately after the ceremony. While many couples step away for a quiet moment together, Julia and Patrick celebrated in a way that fit their personalities perfectly. Instead of heading straight to cocktail hour, they walked directly to the driving range and hit golf balls together in full wedding attire.

It was fun, genuine, and completely them.
